The Technical Side

I recently upgraded my monitor from an Asus to two Dell Ultrasharp monitors. For those who don’t know, I am terrible with computers and technology. I break anything that runs on electricity just by walking by it. It does not like me. I know what I need to in order to edit and print photos, but with all the technical stuff I am completely lost. And that is where my husband comes in. Without him I don’t think I could have a successful business. He is my tech support. 🙂 Daniel is my computer nerd. He makes sure that all my pictures are safe and backed up properly. He makes sure I have the correct computer parts that I need to do my job. And he fixes everything that I break. It’s actually funny, he made it to where my photos are stored in his office instead of mine, that way I don’t mess them up. 🙂 I am not allowed to go near it.

So, on to my latest update. He was telling me that my editing could be more efficient with two monitors. I thought he was crazy. But he was keeping a lookout for a good deal and found the Dell Ultrasharp. We went ahead and got two, that way I had identical monitors. And I am loving it!!! I can’t tell you much about the specs on the monitors because, again, I know nothing about computers. But I can tell you what he told me. 🙂 The Dell Ultrasharp is an ips screen (whatever that means), it is a 23″ screen, and it is made for better color consistency. With my old monitor I had a lot of trouble with head aches and my eyes hurting after being on the computer a while. These seem to help a great deal with that.

Danielle {Senior 2013}

This beauty is Danielle! She is a Senior from CCA. This was one of my all time favorite shoots!!! Danielle and her mom are the sweetest people I have ever met. I enjoyed every minute that we spent together. In addition to be sweet, this girl is outrageously gorgeous! For her photos we went to Downtown Grapevine. We took some by the train station and then we went to the Botanical Gardens. Danielle, I hope that you enjoy your photos, and enjoy the rest of your senior year!

It’s Spring!!!

Today is officially the first day of Spring. Welcome warmer weather and beautiful flowers. 🙂 Spring is always a beautiful time for pictures.

Helping us welcome spring today is a another beautiful baby boy!!! Caiden!!! This sweet little boy is 5 months old, and he is sooo cute. I took Cadien’s newborn photos. I can’t believe how big he has gotten. He has the most amazing parents and I can’t wait to see them all again.

When I was in Intermediate and Middle school I lived in Forney, TX. After Middle school we moved to the Canton area. While I lived in Forney I had a best friend named Jessica. After I moved we did not stay in touch. I had no idea where she lived or where she went to college. A few weeks back I found her on Facebook!! We reconnected and I took pics of her beautiful family. We met up at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano for her photos. I enjoyed catching up with her and meeting her husband and beautiful baby boy!!! I can’t wait to see her again. 🙂

I’m back!!!!

Wow, last week was CRAZY!!! I was gone every day. And now that I am back I have a ton a photos to edit. 🙂 So, that means a lot of blog posts coming soon. I can’t even remember were I left off and what has not been blogged. But let’s get started with a cute little one year old.

This precious little boy is Micah!!! I have taken his photos before, and I can’t believe he is already ONE!!! Micah is the happiest baby I’ve ever met. He smiled the entire time for us. Between his smile, adorable dimple, and those gorgeous blue eyes I don’t stand a chance. He is too cute!!! I hope that you enjoy these photos and have a wonderful Monday!!!
