Ok guys, I realize that I haven’t blogged in WAY too long. I have several shoot just waiting to hit the blog but I just can’t keep up right now. I wanted to take a moment and share this one real quick though. This sweet girl is graduating this year. It was such a pleasure to take her senior photos. I have know her family for 4 years now and I love it every time that I get to see them! We took Lauren’s photos at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano and in downtown Plano. The weather was absolutely perfect and I am so happy with how the photos turned out! Here are some of my favorites (yes, there are a bunch) 🙂
This is one of my all time favorites! Crystal was one of my best friends in middle school. We moved when I was going into high school and I had not seen her since. We reconnected a couple years ago and it has been a privilege to get to know her again. She has the most gorgeous family EVER! We took their family photos at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano. It was a perfect day for photos! It was a little windy, but the light was gorgeous!
I love these so much that it was difficult to narrow them down for you, so excuse the amount of photos in this post. 🙂
I may be a little biased, but this family is absolutely perfect! Faith is my cousin and I cannot believe how time flies. I remember holding her as a baby and now she has a two year old!
I was trying to blog all of my older sessions first but I just couldn’t wait to show you this one. We took their photos at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano. It was a little chilly, but Rylee did so good! Oh, and make sure that you check out the last photo, someone decided that they wanted to be in the photo.
Kortney and Brett just celebrated their 2 year anniversary! These two are so adorable together. 🙂
Kortney is a fellow photographer and she recently took some gorgeous photos for me of my sister and I. You can view them here.
As photographers we sometimes forget that we need photos too. I am so glad that I met Kortney! We have similar shooting and editing styles and she is such a joy to be around. We met up at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve for their anniversary photos. The weather was absolutely perfect! Some beautiful clouds and the temperature was just right. 🙂 They did an amazing job modeling. Brett was a little apprehensive about it, but I think he did a good job! And Kortney, girl, you are stunning! I hope that y’all enjoy the photos!
After I decided on my colors, logo, and website design I realized that I needed to put together a photo shoot that reflected my new colors and style. So I talked to my good friend Joyce about being my model for the day, and she was on board!! So we started planning a styled “picnic engagement” shoot. I was so excited!! We picked out a quilt, picnic basket, food, drink, and flowers. Everything was coming together, and then I checked the weather. There was a 40% chance of rain. After going back and forth all morning we decided to go ahead and try. I got there and it was a gorgeous, cloudy day. But by the time they arrived it had started to sprinkle. We pushed through the weather and got some gorgeous shots! I am so grateful that they stuck it out through the cold and rain. It sprinkled pretty much the entire time we were out there. Thanks Brenden and Joyce for being my models, y’all did such a good job!!!
